Qualifications

Explorers Post 681 applicants must:

· Be between 14 and 21 years of age and have completed the eight grade or be at least 15 years of age regardless of school grade

· Must have and maintain a minimum of a 2.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) in high school or college to remain in the Post.

· Maintain good moral character and be a responsible citizen in the community with a good reputation

· Maintain a good appearance and demeanor in compliance with the standards and policy of the Post.

· Have full approval of parents or guardian and assurance of their support and cooperation

· Successfully pass a thorough background investigation, including a criminal history check.

Applicants must not have been denied membership or have been involuntarily terminated from the Post within the past six months.
